Andreas Broeckmann (*1964) is an art historian and curator who teaches at Malmö Art Academy and at the Academy of Fine Arts Leipzig (HGB). He is the author of Machine Art in the Twentieth Century (2016), co-editor of Place Studies in Art, Media, Science and Technology (with Gunalan Nadarajan, 2009) and of 30 Years after Les Immatériaux (with Yuk Hui, 2015). Broeckmann’s exploration of Les Immatériaux (Centre Pompidou, 1985) began in 2014. It was conducted at Leuphana University Lüneburg and on multiple research trips to Paris.
